Who is Andrew Ferenci?

Andrew is an NYC based entrepreneur. Currently, he is a Senior Manager of Product Development at Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Previously, he was the Director of Product Development at Buddy Media. Before that, Andrew was the CEO and Co-Founder of Spinback,a SaaS company that allowed ecommerce retailers to derive ROI and customer insights from sharing across the web.

In April of 2011, Spinback was featured in the Forrester Research Facebook ecommerce report as having “the greatest value to large retailers.”

In May of 2011, Spinback was acquired by Buddy Media.

In June of 2012, Buddy Media was acquired by Salesforce.com for $745M, making it the largest acquisition of a private technology company in New York City since DoubleClick.

Prior to Spinback, Andrew co-founded The College Shack, an ecommerce retailer of collegiate apparel that he started when he was 19 years old. Four years later, The College Shack was acquired by CBA Inc.

Andrew has been a featured speaker at universities, conferences, and panels including Mashable Connect, TechStars, MESA, The New York Times, Etail, and The University of Wisconsin.

In 2011, Andrew was named Top 25 Most Influential People in New York Tech by Business Insider.

In 2011, Andrew was named #24 on the Silicon Alley 100 by Business Insider and again in 2012Robert W. Pricer Entrepreneurship Scholarship by the University of Wisconsin School of Business and also received the Young Business Alumni award in 2012.

Andrew is a personal investor in several technology startups including Crossfit NYC, Grovo, Barkbox, Hullabalu, Simple Reach, and Zady.

Andrew received a degree in Entrepreneurship and Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin School of Business.

Andrew was born in Philadelphia and grew up Minneapolis, Minnesota. Today, he lives and works in New York City.
